About Beast Industries

Beast Industries is the holding company of MrBeast, the media brand personified by Jimmy Donaldson.

The holding company includes his media empire (YouTube, Beast Games), current and future food business ventures (Feastables, Lunchly), the Viewstats analytics software, and future endeavors.

Since 2024, the MrBeast brand and associated businesses fall under the leadership of President & COO Jeffrey Housenbold, who was hired to contain production costs, hire C-suite executives, and build a sustainable, professional, and profitable business on the path toward an IPO.

With professional leadership in place, Donaldson can focus on what he does best, creating and marketing great content and products.

Though still unprofitable, the MrBeast brand has perhaps more reach than any celebrity-driven media business, including Kim Kardashian’s Skims.

Now that Donaldson is professionalizing his business and raising venture capital funds to expand the business, investors will be eager for opportunities to invest. Though limited today, investment opportunities should open in the next few years.

Here’s a look at MrBeast’s most popular and expensive videos.

Ownership

As of March 2025, details of Beast Industries stock ownership is not publicly available.

However, we can piece together some of the stakeholders and expect to learn more in the coming months when Beast Industries closes its latest venture capital funding round.

Jimmy Donaldson and his associated on-screen friends, who are part of the brand, presumably own a significant portion of shares.

Additional owners likely include C-suite executives, including COO Jeffrey Housenbold, recent hires, and hopefully, the employees helping to build the brand.

The venture capital firm Alpha Wave Global led a 2024 Series C funding round that raised $300 million. Participants in that round are not publicly disclosed.

Beast Industries is reported to be raising $200+ million at a $5 billion valuation. The deal is expected to close in Q2 2025. I’ll update this list of venture capital investors when news of the investment round becomes public.

Valuation

The MrBeast valuation is $5 billion headed into a Q1/Q2 2025 venture funding round. High demand could raise the post-money valuation.

Considering the public interest and intent to become a public company, I expect a press release in April or May disclosing major investors.

But it is unclear yet if the information will become public.

IPO Potential

The MrBeast IPO date is currently unknown, but multiple sources indicate the company is on a path to becoming a public company in two to three years (2027 or 2028)

March 2025 reporting indicates the company projects a profit of $300 million in 2026.

The early 2025 private funding round is planned to be the last before the IPO, according to an Access IPOs source, though these plans often change.

Now that Beast Industries is near to closing a private round and intends to conduct an IPO in the coming years, watch for news about:

  • Business expansion and diversification into new food categories under the Feastables brand
  • Video games and other digital products, and
  • Beast Industries “in talks with banks” about its public future

How to Buy MrBeast Stock

MrBeast stock is privately held under the business name Beast Industries (or Beast Industries stock). It is currently not investable for retail investors.

Some venture capital investors and their networks have recently had the opportunity to invest in Beast Industries stock through special purpose vehicles (SPVs).

The most recent private funding round likely generated substantial demand.

Investors interested can follow the guidelines below to become investors.

Note that investment opportunities are currently scarce but may become more available as the valuation grows.

1. Buy MrBeast stock pre-IPO

Accredited investors with professional networks in the venture capital and peripheral industries may have come across an opportunity to invest in the early 2025 private funding round.

Access IPOs is aware of one such opportunity. However, it was highly oversubscribed, timely, and only available to a few well-connected investors.

But now that Beast Industries is an established entity, I anticipate that opportunities may start to become present on pre-IPO investing platforms in the next 12 months.

Monitor investing platforms on the Access IPO pre-IPO investing page to seek access.

These sites bring liquidity to an otherwise illiquid asset.

However, shares only become available when early investors seek liquidity. At this early stage of the Beast Industries entity, and with a planned IPO in the future, I expect most shareholders will wait until after the IPO to liquidate shares.

Employees and early investors will likely wait for a long-term outcome instead of seeking liquidation pre-IPO. If the company delays its IPO ambitions, shareholders may look to pre-IPO marketplaces for liquidity.

Non-accredited investors can monitor venture capital funds like the Fundrise Innovation Fund and ARK Venture Fund to see if they participated in private rounds.

2. Win Shares from MrBeast!

Knowing MrBeast, an IPO will be a massive stunt and spectacle. Donaldson does not seek wealth but instead seeks to entertain and positively impact the world.

He gives away or reinvests nearly everything he earns from his YouTube video.

An IPO may be his opportunity to share the wealth that he has built with his U.S. fans and customers.

Donaldson will likely have something up his sleeve, adding an element of viewer and customer participation to the MrBeast IPO.

How that plays out is unknowable for now.

The eventual S-1 IPO filing can include a directed share program clause that is a regulatory vehicle for accomplishing what MrBeast and his team may imagine.

If people from Beast Industries read this article, please steer Donaldson and leadership toward an IPO that allows fans to participate.

3. Participate in the MrBeast IPO

Ambitious investors can position themselves to invest in the MrBeast IPO if and when it arrives.

Your chances of getting IPO shares will depend on many factors, including which brokerages you use and share availability.

Share availability is often limited for retail investors. But MrBeast has broken several conventional rules as he’s built a global brand and audience.

Considering his inclusive attitude and fan participation in many stunts, watch for opportunities to invest in the IPO.

MrBeast could, for example, offer stock shares as a prize instead of cash.

Online brokers like Robinhood and TradeStation offer IPO access to retail investors. When the MrBeast IPO date is near, these brokers are the most likely to offer access.

4. Invest after the IPO

Since acquiring IPO shares is almost always challenging for individual investors, the most likely way to invest in MrBeast is to wait until after the IPO.

Realistically, unless your brokerage account is worth more than $1 million and your broker regularly receives IPO allocations, you are unlikely to get in on high-demand IPOs.

This eventual deal could be an exception if Donaldson provides fans with IPO access.

Though IPOs can provide one-day gains north of 20%, even up to 100% in rare cases (such as Airbnb and Doordash), the most significant gains will come during the decade following the IPO if the company is genuinely disruptive.

However, when disruptive companies stay private for too long, venture capital investors reap all the benefits of high growth, and public investors only get their chance when growth slows.

Ideally, Beast Industries will attain profitability in the near future, setting the stage for a low market cap IPO and allowing retail investors to invest early for the long term.

Conclusion

The rise of MrBeast is a modern example of media-driven entrepreneurship, blending entertainment and commerce into a potential publicly traded powerhouse.

With an exploding valuation and a roadmap toward profitability, the company is aligning itself for a market debut in the coming years.

Recognizing the corporate challenges and headaches ahead, Donaldson has brought on a professional team of executives to take the business to the next level. This frees him to do what he does best (create and promote), with the oversight of “adults in the room”, reminiscent of the early Google days when Eric Schmidt came on board.

MrBeast’s unconventional approach to business suggests that his IPO could break traditional molds, potentially offering unique ways for fans and retail investors to get involved.

If Beast Industries can sustain its growth and achieve financial sustainability, it could emerge as one of the most compelling celebrity-led business ventures ever.

Retail investors are watching. As fans have driven the success of MrBeast, aspiring investors hope he’ll consider providing investment opportunities through a crowdfunding campaign or IPO as soon as practical.

Private companies are not impossible to invest in, but there are limited ways for small retail investors to participate.

Interested investors must be patient for now but watch for opportunities to invest in MrBeast stock in the coming 12-24 months.
