#072: RVII IPO Preview

The Robinhood Ventures Fund II (RVII IPO) is Thursday, August 13th.

Craig walks through the underlying investment strategy and fee structure to help investors determine their IPO share request or pass.

The RVII fees are substantial, but a common necessity for venture capital investing.

RVII gives retail investors access to the Y Combinator startup ecosystem, an area of investment previously reserved for accredited investors.

Plus, USVC is now available to invest in via SoFi (for an additional fee).

In IPO Radar news, recent IPO Bending Spoons has agreed to acquire long-term IPO Radar startup Airtable.

The deal highlights the inevitable negative outcome from inflated VC investing that occurred in 2020 and 2021.

Also, a recent report revealed that U.K.-based neocloud Nscale has selected banks for an IPO that could arrive this Fall.
